Terms & Conditions


Deposit & Booking

  • A deposit from £100 is required to secure your wedding date. This covers administration and reserves your booking.

  • Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid in full.

  • After confirmation, numbers may be increased subject to availability.

  • If numbers are reduced, the original confirmed total may still apply.

  • The deposit will be deducted from your final balance, which is due no later than 6 weeks before the wedding date.

Trials / Previews

  • Makeup trials include a full makeup look, photographs, and skincare advice.

  • Following your trial, you have a 7-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit (notification must be made via email).

  • After this 7-day period, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Payments

  • All payments must be made via BACS transfer (cheques and PayPal are not accepted).

  • Prices agreed at the time of booking are fixed, even if pricing changes at a later date.

  • Bookings made less than 6 weeks before the wedding, without a trial, must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made after the 7-day cooling-off period will result in loss of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the wedding date will require payment of the full balance.

  • Any costs incurred up to the point of cancellation remain payable.

  • Changes to party size may affect discounts or require price adjustments.

Booking Changes

  • Please notify me as soon as possible of any changes to numbers, timings, or locations.

  • All changes must be confirmed in writing (email or in person). Text messages are not valid unless confirmed by me.

  • Changes to trial attendees must be confirmed at least 72 hours in advance.

  • Reductions made within 6 weeks of the wedding will not alter the original balance owed.

Time Delays

  • I cannot be held responsible for delays caused by other suppliers or members of the bridal party.

  • If any member of your party requires additional time or consideration, a makeup trial is strongly recommended.

  • Please ensure everyone is available and ready at their scheduled time.

Client Responsibilities

  • The bride or named lead client is responsible for understanding and accepting these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the booking.

  • You must inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to makeup application.

  • I cannot be held liable for reactions caused by undisclosed skin conditions or allergies.

In the Event of Cancellation by Me

  • In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend, I will make every effort to arrange a replacement artist of equal standard.

  • If no suitable replacement is available, a full refund will be issued. No additional compensation will be offered.

  • In cases of extreme weather conditions (e.g. Met Office Red Weather Warning), I reserve the right to cancel without refund. Wedding insurance is strongly advised.

Photography

  • I may photograph my work for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes.

  • Please inform me if you would prefer not to be included in any imagery.

Additional Fees

  • Assistant Fee: For large bridal parties or early start times, an assistant or additional artists may be required from £60.

  • Travel: Travel is charged at 45p per mile beyond a 10-mile radius of Chelmsford, Essex.

  • Parking fees, tolls, and congestion charges may apply where applicable.
